Nelly suffered a lot in her short life. She was a home pet, living in an appartment, thinking she was loved and cared for. Well...think twice...
Nelly fell down through the open window. She was badly hurt. Her tail and the end of her spine were injured. Her tail was amputated and the end of her spine was also operated. The worst thing was that her nerves were badly injured and as a result Nelly has no sensitivity of her bladder. That means she does not know when she pees or poops. She pees and poops without feeling it or being aware of. Sometimes she senses she must go to the toilet and rushes to the cat tray but...too late. Nelly needs an owner who can manage taking care of her physical needs and helping her go to the toilet. We had such cases before and the best thing with Nelly is that she does not contain the urine and poop inside her which is dangerous. Other cats kept the urine and poop inside them and needed help with that. But Nelly does not. She just has no sensitivity of her physical needs.
When Nelly`s owners heard of that, they demanded euthanasia. Doctors refused to put her down because Nelly is able to live a good and happy life with more responsible owners.
She is castrated, vaccinated, about 2 years old. As a character, she is extremely affectionate, longing for a touch and care.
Please, help us a find her a home abroad. No one here wants to adopt "special" pets. She lives in a transport box in the clinic for 1 month already. No one wants to be a foster home for her and she is so lonely in the narrow box without any movement or company.

This is Nelly and she is one of the most beautiful cats i have even seen. We call her "the pastel cat", because she is just like painted by an artist....

Ihr Schwanz wurde amputiert und das Ende ihrer Wirbelsäule wurde auch operiert. Das Schlimmste ist, dass ihre Nerven schwer verletzt wurden und als Folge hat Nelly keine Kontrolle über ihre Blase. Das bedeutet, dass sie nicht merkt, wann sie pinkelt oder kackt. Sie pinkelt und kackt ohne es zu fühlen oder sich dessen bewusst zu sein. Aber Nelly nicht, weil sie den Harn- und Kotdrang nicht kontrollieren kann. Als Nelly `s Besitzer das hörte, verlangte sie Sterbehilfe. Die Ärzte weigerten sich, weil Nelly in der Lage ist, ein gutes und glückliches Leben bei verantwortungsvollen Besitzer leben. Sie ist kastriert, geimpft, ca. 2 Jahre alt. Vom Charakter her ist sie sehr anhänglich, sucht nach Berührung und Kontakt. Bitte helfen Sie uns ein Zuhause im Ausland zu finden . Niemand hier will "besondere" Haustiere adoptieren. Sie lebt schon einen Monat in einer Transportbox in der Klinik . Niemand will eine Pflegefamilie für sie sein, und sie ist so einsam in der engen Box ohne Bewegung oder Gesellschaft.

Das ist Nelly, und sie ist eine der schönsten Katzen , die ich je gesehen habe. Wir nennen sie "die Pastell Katze", weil sie aussieht wie von einem Künstler gemalt ....

Könnte denn mal bitte jemand Denitsa auf englisch fragen, ob sich Nelly mit anderen Katzen und Hunden versteht? LG, Reni

I understand german, i just can`t write.

Nelly is living in a transport box, in the clinic. We have not tested her with other animals but judging from her character and behaviour, we can surely claim that she will accept other cats and dogs. She is extremely good and affectionate. We are already desperate. She feels very lonely in the box. This her third month there. She tries to catch everybody`s attention by sticking her paws between the bars of the box. Such a sad picture!

Reni! We are so happy!
We almost lost hope for beautiful and good Nelly! She is such a treasure! And i am not exaggarating. She is really a very good girl.
These people know about Nelly`s problem, right? That she cannot regulate right her needs for pooping and peeing? We can be sure that they will take good care of her?
Poor Puhcho did not make it but hopefully Nelly will be the luckier girl!

Sie ist wirklich ein sehr liebes Mädel.
Diese Menschen wissen von Nelly's Problem, stimmt's? Dass sie es nicht richtig regulieren kann mit dem Kot und dem Urin (frei uebersetzt ). Wir können sicher sein, dass sie sehr gut auf sie aufpassen?
Armer Puhcho hat es nicht geschafft, aber hoffentlich wird Nelly das glückliche Mädel.
